TDF Tracker v1.4

I haven't been updating the blog too often, but work still progresses on TDF Tracker. There have been several small updates since I last posted - and recently v1.4 was posted. Here are some highlights from the release notes:

• Email can be sent directly from with TDF Tracker (iPhone OS 3.0 now required)
• HTML Email report can be customized to include only the summary or certain sections
• Email Report can also be sent as CSV attachment
• Timer will now calculate break for current entries (started within the past 24 hours)
• Changes to the Mileage autofill algorithm to better handle using different vehicles
• Added ability to edit notes in landscape mode
• Added new autofill options - please check your settings. They will need to be reset.
• Many code level changes made to take advantage of iPhone OS 3.0
• Danish Translation

There are still many updates in store. If you currently own TDF Tracker and find it a valuable tool, please take time to update your rating for this version. It really helps with sales, and allows more resources to be dedicated to development!

TDF Tracker Support Site

Along with a new name, we are creating a mini-site for TDF Tracker that will include additional info such as a FAQ, Help Articles, and soon we will have additional screenshots for those looking for a little more info before purchasing TDF Tracker.

TDF Tracker v1.3.1 - (TDF Time renamed)

TDF Tracker v1.3.1 is now available in the iTunes App Store. There are several minor fixes in the update, the ability to set a "Default To:" address for report emails, and a name change. In order to better reflect the ability of TDF Time to track more then just time - it is being renamed TDF Tracker. While the name has changed, it is the same program - and updates will continue to be available for all customers.

The current update reflects the new name, but due to some changes at the App Store, we are unable to update the name in the Store listing until the next update. If the v1.4 update we are working on takes too long, we may release another small update (v1.3.2?) to address this and add a few minor features.

TDF Time - v1.3 available in the App Store

TDF Time v1.3 is now available in the App Store. Here are a list of some of the new features:

• Advanced time entry - with ability to record start/end/break for an entry
• Autofill on client change option added
• Option to jump directly to client selection on new entry to save time
• Option to run multiple timers at once
• New rounding options - up/down/nearest
• Swipe delete of entries on the main screen
• Option to display times as decimal values (ie 1.6 hours)
• "Today" button to quickly get back to today
• German Translation
• Many other fixes and changes

Breaking the silence....

Just wanted to post a quick entry to the blog.  It has been a while since posting, and much has happened - and continues to happen.  We are currently working on v1.3 of TDF Time.  There are several enhancements and additions to v1.3 - many of which come from user feature requests.  The most often requested feature has been to keep track of an entries start/end time and include that info in the report.  Well, the wait is almost over - that will be the main focus of v1.3.  I will try to post some additional info as we get closer to releasing it - along with some info on the other enhancements it will contain.

TDF TIme - Looking for Translators/Localizers

If you are interested in helping localize (translate) TDF Time into your language - please let me know.  We already have several people that are helping out, but are looking for more.  As soon as the TDF Time update is posted next week, we will be turning attention towards localizing.  The more interest we see for a given language, the quicker we will try to get it done.  Since TDF Time is available worldwide through iTunes, we would like to get it localized in as many languages as feasible.

TDF Time - now on the App Store!

Well, it finally happened!  TDF Time was actually approved for sale on the 24th of September - but was held up by a contract....  The contract was submitted a week or so before TDF Time (now well over a month ago) - so I have no idea why it took so long to get approved.  In the time waiting for it to show up on the App Store - we have been busy at work on fixes and updates.  I hope to finalize/test things by the end of the week and submit the update to Apple.  That means it will be a week or two before it is available as an update - but please leave feedback if you find any problems with the current version.
